This book is anthology comprised of eight short stories that feature contemporary and fantasy settings with m/m, f/f couples who have some form of student-teacher dynamic. As with most anthologies featuring different authors, some stories are better than others.
Lee Welch’s “A Spell for Master Vervain” was my favourite in the set and had by far the best pacing and intensity.
The remaining short stories suffered from the length, there was not enough time for relationships to develop. Overall a decent read and well worth it just for Lee Welch’s story.
