Mildred Hubble is a trainee witch at Miss Cackle’s Academy, and she’s making an awful mess of it. She’s always getting her spells wrong and she can’t even ride a broomstick without crashing it. Will she ever make a real witch?
My Review:
This is a book that I loved from my childhood and I recently reread the series out of nostalgia.
I remember waiting to watch the tv series with my sister in the late 90’s. This is one of the series that made me fall in love with fantasy.
This is the perfect book for a child who needs an introduction to fantasy before delving into the wonderful world of Harry Potter.
