Blurb:

I grew up in darkness, it’s etched in my soul,
so I have no right to touch anything as perfect as Isabella Serrano.
She hates me, I thought I hated her too until one taste of the forbidden makes me question that.
I’ll try to break her, to take everything from her,
but what she takes from me in the process, is more,
so much more.

Flynn Drake is a monster, my tormentor,
but the hate he gives, he gets right back,
the last thing I expected was to fall for him.
He tainted me, he used me,
and I let him,
but now I hold his life in the balance.

My Review:

Wow that was a dark erotic read. It is taboo because of the step sibling relationship but the scenes featuring the St Jude group features public sex, multiple partners, mmf scenes every possible risque thing you can think of.

This book features our main characters as teenagers and then halfway through the book they reconnect as adults. There are some dark themes explored. The St Jude group has a criminal side and features blackmail, assault and involves the group tracking down a pedaphile ring.

This is not for the faint of heart. It’s dark and twisted. I was initially put off by the virgin gang bang but once the story developed I was hooked. I devoured the book in one sitting and I can’t wait until the next in the series is out.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. *Blurb and cover image via Goodreads.
