When a summons arrives for Cat from Queen Catherine demanding Cat’s presence in London Nathaniel finds himself volunteering to be her escort.
When the pair find themselves in the centre of danger and intrigue they cannot resist their growing attraction, but secrets have a way of revealing themselves, and when trust is lost it’s hard to get it back.
This is not a time period I typically read, I prefer Regency and Victorian settings, but this was an okay read. This book is part of a series, but it can be read as a standalone. I will not be sticking with the series, but this book is an excellent read for people who do enjoy the time period.
