Wish Upon a Duke (12 Dukes of Christmas, #3) by Erica Ridley

Christopher Pringle has always stood in his brother’s shadow. All he wants is to find his one true love, a wife to join him on his far-flung travels. With only two weeks left before he sets sail his time is running short. When his future sister-in-law directs him to a matchmaker he reluctantly agrees.

Gloria Godwin loves her hometown where every day is Christmas. Every month she leads a star-gazing walk and wishes upon a star. Her wish is always the same. To be noticed. Her father taught her to love the stars and to follow them, she has always longed to travel but the sea has cost her the family she adored.

The two have so many differences. Christopher is a rigid rule follower and Grace is unpredictable, but both want the exact same thing. To find the one that completed them. This is a light-hearted humour read that delights in its simplicity. I highly recommend this book. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I will certainly be looking for the next instalment.

I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.
