A Lot Like Home (SEALs of Superstition Springs Book 1) by Kat Cantrell

Ex- Navy SEAL Caleb Hardy and his four team members feel guilty for the events of their last mission.  Serenity Force, was the only thing keeping them going while in Syria. A stranger who wrote to each of them and became a mother figure for them. Now Serenity needs their help. Her small town of Superstition Springs is at risk and the ‘boys’ want to help with Caleb leading the charge.

Havana Nixon is determined to secure a deal to develop a shopping centre where the dilapidated town is. She has returned to her former home hoping to succeed but with her own aunt against her how can she succeed.

This is a clean romance where two broken souls find themselves unable to resist each other. I found this to be an ok read. The premise is good, but the story just didn’t grip me like I had hoped.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. For more reviews please visit my blog:
