Simon Sanders, has isolated himself following a cougar attack one year ago. Hiding his scarred face from the world he seeks solace at the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
Carrie Kerr, cannot watch the man she loves suffer any longer. Kidnapping him to bring him back to the world seemed like a good idea at the time. Can she help Simon return to the world and maybe share a life together?
Both characters are strong independent people who are helped on their journey by a colourful cast of supporting characters. The word building is by far my favourite in this book. I can imagine myself in the wilds of Montana.
