Lord Edmund Rushwood, has until he turns twenty-six to find a wealthy bride or lose his vast inheritance. Seeking a break from the situation he heads to America to visit a friend.  Edmund agrees to participate in his friends tv show in the hopes of finding a bride.

Abby Forester is content to live out her father’s dreams in his vintage record shop. Invariably drawn to Edmund she is reluctant to have anything to do with him. Abby somehow ends up a contestant on the tv show as one of Edmund’s potential brides.

While I did enjoy the book it’s an easy, readable story featuring attractive characters,
I found it to be overlong. I lost interest as the ending was drawn out unnecessarily.  I would give it a cautious recommendation.
