Madeline Quinn is need of a husband before April 1^st or she will lose her inheritance. With a marriage of convenience, her only hope, Maddy turns to her first love Jake. The only man she can trust not to take advantage of her situation.

Jake Becker hasn’t seen Maddie since the night she tried to seduce him. His life changed that night and he hold Maddie responsible. Seizing the opportunity to get revenge, he agrees to Maddie’s proposition.

Sparks fly between them, but can they move on from the events of the past.

This is a quick read, but the story does not suffer from the length. The plot develops at a good pace and the characters are well rounded.  I would recommend this book.
