This book is free on Amazon at the moment.
Marly has quit her job, her fiancee left her for another woman and she’s pregnant. All Marly ever wanted was to be a big-time journalist. Her mother, a single parent, owns and runs the small town newspaper in Marietta, Montana, The Copper Mountain Courier and wanted more for Marly than she had. Marly is terrified to disappoint her but returning home is her only option.
Life could not get any worse until her high school crush walks into the newspaper office. Drake was the rich, popular school jock, who stood her up on their one and only date. Drake is anxious to apologise to Marly for his actions and wants to explain the reasons behind it. Still as drawn to Marly as ever, can these two overcome the obstacles in their way?
I wasn’t expecting much from this book since it was free but it was actually an entertaining read. The characters are well developed and engaging. It is a quick read but the plot moves at a nice pace. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good romance.
