The Best Man’s Bride (Royal Wedding Invitations #4) by Anne McAllister

I received a copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the fourth instalment of the Royal Wedding Invitations series. There are four books that follow a story that started in the first book with Hope and Prince Jonas meeting and deciding to marry. Each book is written by a different author and focuses on a different couple from the main pairing of Jonas and Hope, to the two bridesmaids and finally the best man.

Written by Anne McAllister this book focuses on Celina Harris, aid to the Dowager Princess, and Jack Masterson, rock star and best man of the groom. He’s also Celina’s ex-husband. Celina and Jack had a misunderstanding two years before leading to Celina filing for divorce. They have not been in contact since that fateful night. Neither has stopped loving the other but can they put their anger aside and focus on a new beginning.

I found this to be a great second chance love story. It was light-hearted read with the right amount of angst. The characters are likeable and the story moves at a nice pace. I would recommend reading the series as a whole. While the books can be read as standalone, there are snippets of each romance in all the books.
