Caught by the Scot (Made to Marry, #1) by Karen Hawkins

I received a copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Conner Douglas, handsome Scottish privateer must marry to inherit his fortune. The only woman he can think of is his best friends sister. Hoping to get a wife, content to sit at home while he carries on as he always has, Connor is in for a rude awakening.
Theodora has been in love with Conner since she was a young girl. Setting her dreams of love aside she decides to elope with a country squire. What follows is an enjoyable adventure as Connor and seeks to sabotage the elopement and comes to realise that Thea is more than he could have ever hoped for.
This is an enjoyable lighthearted read and I found myself laughing out loud at many scenes, in particular scenes with ladies maid Alice.
